David Fernández was born in 1997 in Barcelona, Spain.
Currently recently graduated in Product Design at ELISAVA, University School of Design and Engineering. Actually he works freelance at Vibia and Nomon.
Passionate about cultures, traditions and materials. He likes handcraft work, using ancestral techniques and traditional materials, while innovating in gestures, forms and uses. He finds much inspiration in nature and simple forms. He also tries to look for sustainability in materials.
He has had the opportunity to collaborate with important entities such as Mermelada Studio, Vibia, Nomon Clocks, Tous, El Parlament de Catalunya, Fyla, Hermanos Torres or Barbany Artesans.
David believes any idea can have great potential if we give it to him. His projects cover very diverse areas. Besides their functionality, they always have a story to tell.
