The pants I have designed meet the need of the Elisava user to carry and store a large number of objects that he needs. At the same time, they make an allegory to the jeans, being able to be an update of them as pants and as material. But, my main objective has been to elaborate a critical design towards the user that I have described as "el modernillo". A person who gives them "better lifestyle" but ends up falling into the nets of consumerism. And consequently, to IKEA.
IKEA is a company that shares the same bases as my user. A company that claims to spend little wood on its furniture, but ends up consuming much more due to high demand. Both users share this hypocrisy. There is one thing that is certain about all this, though, and that is that at IKEA not everything is bad. This company has managed to unite social classes with "white label" furniture, something that I want to accomplish with these pants.
